The ski area

One Dolomiti Superski pass opens the largest ski carousel in the world. The Sella Ronda loops around the Sella massif through four valleys in a day, while the Saslong in Val Gardena and the Gran Risa in Alta Badia host World Cup races. Mountain huts serve some of the best food in the Alps.

When to go

The season runs from early December to early April. The Dolomites are known for sunny days; January and March are great for quieter slopes.

Getting there

The nearest airports are Bolzano, Innsbruck, Verona and Venice (about 1–3 hours by road). By train, travel to Bolzano or Brunico and continue by bus or transfer.
