Most Alpine resorts open in early December and close in mid-April. Christmas, New Year and the February school holidays are the busiest weeks, so book those early.

Usually not — accommodation is booked separately. Ski passes and rental can be bought at the resort or online in advance. Ask us and we'll point you to the best options for your resort.

Most resorts are 1–3 hours by road from the nearest airport (Geneva, Zurich, Lyon, Milan, Innsbruck or Salzburg), and many are also reachable by train. Your confirmation includes the property address and arrival details.

Each property sets its own times — you'll find them on the property page and in your confirmation. Saturday-to-Saturday stays are common in ski resorts during peak weeks.

If you drive, winter equipment is required or strongly recommended on mountain roads in all four countries. Rental cars from Alpine airports can usually be booked with winter tyres.
