KitzSki stretches from the Hahnenkamm to the Kitzbüheler Horn and Resterhöhe, with long, varied runs for every level. The legendary Streif is open to skiers outside race week — for the brave.
Where to stay
- Kitzbühel town — colourful medieval streets, boutiques, restaurants and the Hahnenkamm gondola.
- Reith bei Kitzbühel — a quiet neighbouring village with a family atmosphere.
- Kirchberg — livelier, linked to the same ski area.
When to go
The main season runs from December to April. The Hahnenkamm race weekend in January is spectacular but busy — book early.
Getting there
Kitzbühel has direct train connections. Innsbruck and Salzburg airports are about 1 h 15 away and Munich about 1 h 45.
