The ski area
From St. Anton, lifts reach the Valluga, Rendl and Kapall, with steep pistes, ski routes and famous off-piste. Ski Arlberg links St. Anton with Lech, Zürs, Stuben and Warth-Schröcken on one pass.
Where to stay
- St. Anton centre — pedestrian village, shops and legendary après-ski bars.
- St. Christoph — higher and quieter, right on the slopes.
- Stuben — a tiny traditional village, known for powder and calm.
When to go
The season runs from early December to late April. January and February bring the best powder; spring skiing in March and April is excellent.
Getting there
St. Anton has its own railway station on the main line between Zurich and Innsbruck. Innsbruck airport is about 1 hour away and Zurich about 2.5 hours.
