Frequently asked questions

When is the season in Val d'Isère and Tignes?

Usually from late November to early May — one of the longest in the Alps thanks to the altitude and the glacier.

When should I book?

Christmas, New Year and February sell out first; book 6 to 9 months ahead. December and April are excellent value.

Are ski passes included?

No. We can advise on Tignes–Val d'Isère passes, equipment and ski schools.

Which airport is closest?

Chambéry, Geneva and Lyon; Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the nearest train station.
